Ken Irwin
Ken Irwin is a figurative painter born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and earned his BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in 1975.
Irwin has exhibited his work in galleries throughout Boston and St. Petersburg, Florida. While best known for his figurative painting, his work also encompasses landscapes and seascapes, reflecting a deep engagement with both the human presence and the natural environment
Working in both oil and watercolor throughout his career, he has focused primarily on oil painting for the past twenty-five years, developing a strong, expressive approach across his subjects.
